Working on our 2024 goals requires us to get back

Working on our 2024 goals requires us to get back to basics. Some of the best advice we got when starting Lasting Joy was to start with why and build the business from there. Life will always throw you hurdles, and this year we faced our fair share, with equipment issues and prolonged tick borne illness, among other predictable challenges of year two in business. We also had great highs, welcoming thousands of new guests through our doors, making amazing connections with other local businesses, watching our team gel into place and into our roles, winning an architecture award, and having one of our beers on a critic’s choice list in Craft Beer and Brewing. The highs and the lows both bring us back to our why. So, here’s our why. We’d love to hear yours. Why do you do what you do with your one wild and precious life, as Mary Oliver says? What brings you joy?
