Market Representative Position
Job Overview
The Market Representative will act as an ambassador for Lasting Joy Brewery at off–site events. The main responsibility of this role will be to set up and break down at off-site markets or events, educate guests on our brand, and sample products. This person should develop a deep and intuitive understanding of Lasting Joy’s product line and its overall brand and engage with guests to drive traffic to the tasting room. The Market Representative is expected to represent our company in a professional, positive, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable manner.
This position requires someone who has excellent communication skills and can maintain a professional and congenial demeanor for the duration of the events at which they are representing Lasting Joy, which will include weekends and holidays.
Job Responsibilities
Event/Market Operations
- Execute, set-up, breakdown at events which includes but not limited to: setting up 10×10 tent, folding tables, coolers, mobile draft system, and marketing materials
- Pour beer and educate consumers on the styles
- Drive traffic to the taproom through conversation
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times
- Drive company vehicle to and from events to transport table displays, mobile draft equipment and or cans, and materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
Brand & Product Knowledge
- Attend regular brand and beer trainings with management to stay current with our offerings
- Educate customers and consumers on our brand and the taproom
Quality Control
- Assess the quality of beers at accounts and ensure the freshness of products when sampling or pouring
Job Requirements
- Must be 21+
- Must have a valid NYS or US Drivers License
- Comfortable driving company vehicle
Schedule
- Day & Night Shifts
- May require early mornings
- Weekend and holiday availability
