Kaatsbaan is an acclaimed cultural park located on 153 acres of Tivoli’s wooded Hudson River shores. Here artists of all walks are given sanctuary to freely pursue their most ambitious projects. Every autumn, Kaatsbaan hosts its Fall Festival and Gala. This fall, Kaatsbaan has tapped Lasting Joy Brewery to supply our premium farm brews to its visitors!
Annual Gala Playing Field Dinner – Francis Mallman
Friday, September 16
To open its annual Fall Festival, Kaatsbaan is hosting a Gala Dinner prepared by world-famous celebrity chef Francis Mallman. This not-to-be-missed experience will include Lasting Joy’s premium beers paired with Mallman’s signature Patagonian barbeque. We will be onsite joyously pouring our Czech Pilsner, ILOVIT Lager, and Smoked Helles — a perfect compliment to a night of open-fire cuisine.
The Glass Etudes at Kaatsbaan

The Fall Festival continues with a celebration of one of the most influential composers of our time, Philip Glass. On Saturday and Sunday, award-winning dancers, choreographers, and pianists will perform interpretations of the composer’s Glass Etudes.

We will serve joy all weekend during dance productions from the following outstanding artists: Trisha Brown Dance Company, Dorrance Dance, and Mark Morris Dance Group.
Special Music Concert with RY X
Friday, September 30
Against the backdrop of the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains, Australian singer-songwriter RY X graces the stage as part of his U.S. tour. While the music echoes through the valley, our beers will be available for refreshment.
Special Screening of West Side Story
October 1
Kaatsbaan is hosting a special screening of West Side Story to bring an end to the fall festivities. To follow up the film screening, Kaatsbaan commissioned a unique piece featuring dancers from the film. Afterward, the night ends with a West Side Story-themed dance party!
